Description
Scaling the Heights of GTA V
Have you ever wondered why climbing isn't a feature in GTA5, despite its towering mountains and dramatic cliffs like those found on Mt. Chilliad's northwest side? Now you can experience the thrill of scaling those heights! This Map Editor Map introduces a climbing route up the northwest face of Mt. Chilliad (see Screenshots 1 and 2 for the route and starting point). Due to the complexity of the complete route, it has been divided into smaller stages. **Version 1.1:** Minor changes were implemented in the "Rocks_Below" stage, allowing for an additional right climbing line on the second cliff (previously a dead end). Similar adjustments were made to the "Rocks_TopLeft1" stage. All other lines and stages remain unchanged and manageable. **Tutorial:** 1. Install the latest Map Editor version from Guadmaz, ensuring compatibility with current requirements. 2. Copy the files within the Climbing.zip into GTA5's root directory. 3. Enter GTA5 Story Mode and proceed to the starting point on Mt. Chilliad's northwest side (refer to Screenshots 1 and 2). 4. Activate Map Editor using F7 and load the initial stage called "Rocks_Below". 5. Close Map Editor. 6. Begin your climb! 7. Upon reaching a "No Trespassing" sign, press F7 again, select "new map", and load the subsequent stage (refer to Screenshot 1 for the order of stages). 8. Repeat step 7 at every "No Trespassing" sign. **Tips:** - Climb in first-person view for improved ease. - After the second stage ("Rocks_Middle"), choose your path: Right one (easier) = "Rocks_TopRight1" and "Rocks_TopRight2" or Left one (harder) = "Rocks_TopLeft1" and "Rocks_TopLeft2". - Proceed cautiously, avoiding hasty movements. Climb strategically. **Disclaimer:** The cliffs present a genuine challenge. Expect to face setbacks! However, rest assured that all routes are conquerable as they have been thoroughly tested. Have fun scaling the heights of Mt. Chilliad!First Upload: November 14, 2024 Last Updated: November 14, 2024
