Authentic Engine Backfire and Turbocharger Audio

This is my first mod, and I hope you enjoy it!

The mod changes the backfire sound to 4 different sounds taken from real life. It also changes the turbo sound to a more realistic one.

Please note that DLC cars and some add-on cars will not get the custom sounds.

Also be aware that the sounds are louder compared to the vanilla ones.

INSTALLATION

• - Extract the zip file
• - In OpenIV, go to mods/x64/audio/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf
• - Right click on "vehicles.awc" and click on "Export to opnFormat (.oac)" (Extract it wherever you want, preferably desktop). It will create a "vehicles.oac" file and a "vehicles" folder
• - To get the backfire sounds, go in the "Modified Sounds" folder, and into the "Backfire Sounds" folder, copy all the files and put it in the "vehicles" folder that got created when you extracted "vehicles.awc"
• - For the turbo sounds, go into the "Modified Sounds" folder, and then into the "Turbo Sounds" folder, and copy all of the files and put it in the "vehicles" folder that got created when you extracted "vehicles.awc"
• - Go in OpenIV, and again, in mods/x64/audio/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf
• - Click on "New" (top left) then "Import openFormats" (remember to put on edit mode so the "new" button will show up!)
• - Choose the "vehicle.oac" file that got created when you extracted "vehicles.awc", and click Open.
• - Click Ok.

To uninstall the mod, repeat the steps above but use the "Original Files" rather than "Modified Sounds"
