Description

Navigating Merger Five

Experiencing GTA crashes after installing a handling mod? Tired of manually merging handling data? Need to incorporate specific vehicles from a large handling mod? Want to install a handling mod but preserve existing values for certain vehicles? Does your current handling have vehicles missing from the downloaded mod?

This tool simplifies handling mod merging. Remember to back up your current "handling.meta" file as changes are irreversible.

Tutorial

  1. "Select the file with the modified handling data to retrieve" should point to the text file containing the modded handling data. The program will extract all handling data and list it under "Vehicles do Replace" or "Vehicles to Add."
  2. "Select the handling.meta file that will receive modded handling data" should point to the file you want to modify. Create a backup before proceeding.
  3. Replace Options allow modifications only on lines common to both the modded and base handling, promoting safe merging.
  4. Add Options enable inserting lines from the modded handling data into the base file. Be cautious as adding unsupported vehicles or variables can cause errors. Test your changes incrementally.

If not all replacements or additions occur, review the generated logs for potential errors and double-check the file paths. Report any unusual issues in the comments section.
