Description
Car Color Data Transformed to XML
The file "carcols.ymt" has been converted into XML format, similar to GTA V ".meta" files.
- "x64a\carcols.xml" - This is the original GTA V carcols data (located at GTAV\x64a.rpf\data\carcols.ymt). It is currently not used by the game due to a newer version in the update folder.
- "update\carcols.xml" - This is the updated GTA V carcols data (located at GTAV\update\update.rpf\x64\data\carcols.ymt). It corresponds to game version 1.0.877, but other versions may have some differences.
- "update_791\carcols.xml" - This is another updated GTA V carcols data (located at GTAV\update\update.rpf\x64\data\carcols.ymt). It corresponds to game version 1.0.791, but other versions may have some differences.
How To Use In Game
Edit the XML files using Notepad++ or any other text editor that supports XML syntax highlighting.
To use the "update\carcols.xml" file in the game, rename it to "carcols.ymt" and then use OpenIV to replace the "GTAV\update\update.rpf\x64\data\carcols.ymt" file.
Alternatively, you can use OpenIV's mods folder feature for easier implementation.
