Vintage Compass Mini-Map

This mod replaces the default minimap with a round or oval shape, and allows you to choose between full color or semi-transparent styles.

The compass maintains its North orientation even when using the player or camera for navigation. The mod is coded in Lua and designed for open source use.

Installation

1. Open OpenIV.
2. Navigate to: update/update.rpf/common/data/ui
3. Place frontend.xml
4. Navigate back to: update/update.rpf/X64/textures
5. Open graphics.ytd
6. Insert radarmasklg.dds and radarmadksm.dds into graphics.ytd.
7. Navigate to update/update.rpf/X64/textures/script-txds.rpf
8. Place CompassHUD.rpf there.
9. Close OpenIV.

Open the "CHOOSE STYLE" folder and select one of the two styles: oval or round. Within each style, you can choose between full color and semi-transparent.

1. Copy lua.asi and the scripts folder into your main GTA V folder.

The compass will automatically load when you start the game.

No known bugs, but please report any issues if you encounter them.
