Journeying Through Time

This mod enables you to construct a time portal and embark on journeys through time. The mod was developed using ChatGPT.

Controls

Press F12 and input the year you wish to travel to.

Mod creation process

I provided ChatGPT with 46 edits before achieving the desired result. I could have resolved the issues myself more swiftly, but I aimed for the AI to handle all modification aspects under my close supervision.

ChatGPT's most frequent errors included:

• Inaccurate or outdated function names
• Forgetting previous modifications. It was necessary to review the submitted code each time or request only the changed code segment.
• Confusion regarding game concepts. Initially, it struggled to differentiate between the 3D portal marker and the blip on the game map.

To simulate a semblance of genuine time travel, I requested ChatGPT to include a specific passphrase: entering "2004" while playing as Michael will transport you to North Yankton.
