Bringing Multiplayer Cars to Chop Shop's Singleplayer 2.0

Bringing Multiplayer Cars to Chop Shop's Singleplayer
This mod introduces some vehicles from DLCs and Multiplayer into the singleplayer experience. You can find these new cars driving through traffic in Los Santos and Blaine County, as well as parked in various locations.
I created this mod because while other mods exist that do something similar, they are often outdated and lack recent vehicles or include unrealistic vehicles that wouldn't be seen on real roads.
Mod Features
- Features only realistic vehicles; no fictional or outlandish models.
- Includes vehicles from most DLCs up to the latest release.
- Vehicles can spawn in traffic or parked in parking spaces.
- Customizable: You can add your own vehicles or remove vehicles you don't want to see. (Instructions below)
I highly recommend installing a custom gameconfig. This will allow you to increase the amount of traffic on the roads and provide stability for more vehicles.
Installation
- Extract popgroups.ymt to mods>update>update.rpf>x64>levels>gta5 using OpenIV
How to customize the mod
- Extract popgroups.ymt to a location on your computer where you can easily find it.
- Open the file with a suitable text editor.
- Search for either veh_poor, veh_med, veh_rich. Below each of these categories, you will find a list of all the vehicles that will spawn there.
- To remove a vehicle, delete the corresponding line.
- To add a vehicle, copy a line above it and change the vehicle name to the one you desire. Use a resource like the GTA wiki to find vehicle names:
- Save the file and follow the installation steps outlined above.
I've been informed that vehicles from DLCs can sometimes disappear when approached. I have installed a persistence mod that prevents vehicles from despawning, so I haven't encountered this issue. The persistence mod is included in: (Please note, you need to enable the persistence feature within its settings).
