FlatOut 2: Soaring Heights

This mod allows for a Flatout 2-style bail-out from vehicles. Hold down the designated button to increase the angle of flight, then release to launch yourself into the air.

I recommend using god mode with this mod as repeated bailouts can lead to quick demise.

Installation:

• Install Script Hook V.
• Install Script Hook V .NET.
• Copy FlatoutBail.dll, FlatoutBail.ini, NAudio.dll, and the FlatoutBail folder into the scripts folder located in your GTA V directory.

Usage:

Hold X on keyboard or the vehicle duck button on controller (default A on Xbox controller) to increase angle, then release to fly.

Press Space on keyboard or the jump button on controller (X on Xbox controller) to nudge your player while airborne.

Control movement in the air after ejecting using your standard walking/driving controls (defaults WASD/left thumb stick).

Press F9 to enable/disable the mod.

Customizations in INI:

The force applied to the player upon bailing out (Bail_Force).

The force applied to the player when nudging (Nudge_Force).

Whether the mod is enabled on startup (Enabled_On_Startup).

Allow nudging (Allow_Nudge) or not.

Allow movement while airborne after bailing out (Allow_Move_While_In_Air).

Whether to play the eject sound (Play_Eject_Sound) or not.

Whether to play the nudge sound (Play_Nudge_Sound) or not.

The key to enable/disable the mod (Toggle_Mod_Key).

The keyboard key to initiate bailing out (Bail_Key).

The key to nudge the player in air (Nudge_Key).

Whether to have controller support (Controller_Support) or not.

The controller button to start the bail-out (Controller_Bail_Button).

The controller button to nudge the player in air (Controller_Nudge_Button).

Display Customizations:

All positions and sizes are expressed as percentages of screen width/height.

The background picture position (Background_Pos_X/Y).

The needle picture position (Needle_Pos_X/Y).

The background picture size (Background_Width/Height).

The needle picture size (Needle_Width/Height).

The angle text position (Angle_Text_Pos_X/Y).

The angle text size (Angle_Text_Size).

Additional Notes:

This mod is not flawless. Windshields do not break upon bailing out, and you are teleported in front of/above your vehicle after ejecting. These limitations stem from GTA V's design.

Currently, the ejection sound is a simple scream.
