Lone Star Lawman

I'm introducing a member of one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the United States: the Texas Ranger Division.

These individuals have been involved in many crucial events in Texas history, including preventing the assassinations of Presidents William Howard Taft and Porfirio Díaz in El Paso, Texas. They've also played a role in some of the most famous criminal cases of the Old West, such as those of gunfighter John Wesley Hardin, bank robber Sam Bass, and outlaws Bonnie and Clyde. Numerous books have been written about the Rangers, covering everything from factual accounts to fictional tales, solidifying their place in the lore of the Wild West.

As you can see, this is one reason why it's wise to think twice before crossing Texas.
