Weapons Reforged
Hello, everyone! This mod aims to deliver a more realistic shooting experience in GTAV and prevent weapons from feeling identical during combat.
Update 1.6 fix: Reduced recoil shake for certain weapons. Headshot damage modifier has been altered. Refer to the 2nd picture for specifics.
Features:
- Weapon mechanics are based on real-world counterparts while maintaining balance.
- - Bullets travel at varying velocities.
- - Each weapon has a more realistic effective range.
- - Damage and force have been adjusted, gradually decreasing from 0.1 range to 1.0 range.
- - Accurate fire rates implemented.
- - Recoil and accuracy spread increased. Tip: If your character's shooting skill is low, recoil may feel excessive for some powerful weapons. Try controlling your firing rate or using weapons with lower recoil. It is advisable to visit Ammu-Nation and improve your shooting skills at the range.
- - Hitting limbs inflicts less damage (*0.4), while hitting an armored vest deals 0.5~1.0 damage depending on the weapon's armor penetration capability.
- - Scope attachments offer different zoom factors. Clip sizes have been adjusted.
- - Several minor tweaks incorporated.

Installation: Run openIV, navigate to Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rtf\common\data\ai\, and replace the original files after creating a backup.
Directories for DLC weapon packs are available in README.txt within each folder.
Alternatively, use the latest version of openIV and create a "mods" folder. Instructions can be found here.
