This mod replaces the standard carbine rifle with a custom tactical variant, all tints work and all the attachments are replaced with darker variants, all of this staying lore friendly!
REQUIREMENTS:
-Marksman's shared attachments https://www.gta5-hub.com/weapons/weapons-addon-components
-A trainer to spawn the weapon (if addon) (Zolika's and Simple Trainer are advised for addon weapons)
-OPENIV
-a copy of GTA V
INSTALLATION:
Add-On (recommended):
Use OpenIV to reach: X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data
Activate edit mode, right click on "dlclist.xml" then click on edit and add on the last dlc dlcpacks:/tacticalcarbine/ then save.
After that drag and drop "tacticalcarbine" inside X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\dlcpacks
Spawn name: WEAPON_TACTICALCARBINE
For replace:
For first, you must open OPENIV, then search for: X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday8ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf\
(required) To install the metas go to: X:\Program Files\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data
and replace the weaponarchetypes.meta with mine, then enter the "ai" folder and replace weapons.meta and weaponcomponents.meta
Then replace the files in the archive with the ones in the folder
