MG Retextured - PKM
A retexture of the MG that resembles one of the real life weapon that is based on, PKM. It's a very odd combination, judging from the butstock, it's a PK but the standard mag is (oddly enough) a 54 round drum mag, and the PK don't have any side covers at all. So it could be a "GangBang" combination of the PKM, RPD and a little from RPK as well, with a PKP Pecheneg color shceme.. i know a total mindfuck right?, so i've planned to cover all that with this texture mod, i'm currently still trying to Polish the RPD texture so it will be added in the near future update.
i've given you guys some selection over this simple texture mod, depends on your taste about how the PKM should look like. (the RPD will also have the same selection)
Variations Available are:
1. Light Wood
2. Dark Wood
3. Red Wood
Misc:
- in order for your weapon to look like the ones in the Screen Shot you need to apply the "Extended Clip" upgrade for your MG.
- if you want to replicate a PKP Pecheneg, you could use the vanilla texture and only copy my Mag2 Files, looks best with a scope attachment.
Installation : Open up "Open IV", go to \update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf\, Enable Edit mode, Choose which texture you prefer most, replace the w_mg_mg.ytd, w_mg_mg+hi.ytd with my files, save and close Open IV, start your game simple as that.
For the magazine copy the file w_mg_mg_mag2.ytd, w_mg_mg_mag2+hi.ytd, from the "-PK Mag Texture" Folder and repeat the process above.
This is my first attempt on texture mods, so the texture might have some rough edges here and there (common noob mistake) but you won't notice it in game don't worry ;) also give me some feedback on what you guys think about it.
