Prevent Automatic Weapon Acquisition

This mod modifies the pickups.meta file to disable automatic weapon pickup for all weapons, including those from downloadable content (DLCs). You will still be able to automatically collect ammo, money, health, and melee weapons like knives and hammers. The glowing effect on dropped weapons and money is also removed.

Installation:

1. Using OpenIV, navigate to update/update.rpf/common/data and replace the pickups.meta file. Remember to create a backup of the original file before making any changes. 2. Copy the pickups.meta file from update/x64/dlcpakcs/ into the corresponding folder for your specific DLC. 3. Run the game and enjoy.
It is recommended to use a trainer to remove all your weapons and then purchase the desired weapon from an ammunation store.
