M37/Remington 870 Sound Suppressor Modification

This mod provides improved sound effects for the M37 and Remington 870 shotguns. Please note that only Proudnoob4 is authorized to reupload these sounds.

Using this mod online is strongly discouraged. I am not responsible for any consequences you may face for using modified game files online.

This mod alters the sound effects for both pump and sawed-off shotguns. A backup of the original files is included for those who wish to revert.

Installation:

1. Ensure you have OpenIV installed and enable edit mode.
2. Extract this downloaded file to any location (remember the path!).
3. Navigate to x64/audio/sfx/WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf/ptl_combat.awc in OpenIV.
4. Select "New" and then "Import openFormats".
5. Locate the mod file (.oac) and press "OK" to import it.
6. Launch the game and enjoy the enhanced sound effects!
