Evaluating Emerging Weaponry

This update introduces numerous changes to weapon mechanics in the game.

  • The field of view (FOV) has been adjusted for most weapons, excluding sniper rifles.
  • Firerates have been modified across all weapons.
  • Muzzle velocity has been changed, resulting in a more realistic bullet travel time that depends on the distance to the target. This change is particularly noticeable with sniper rifles.
  • Weapon ranges have been adjusted.
  • The reload time for the Tank Cannon has been significantly increased, now taking approximately 6 seconds, closer to real-world reloading times.
  • Magazine sizes for most weapons have been changed to reflect more realistic capacities. For example, the Deagle now holds 7 rounds instead of 9.
  • The maximum amount of ammunition that can be carried has been substantially reduced.
  • Muzzle flashes for most weapons have been enlarged for enhanced visual impact.

Known issues include the game transitioning to window mode when loading story mode. To return to normal mode, press ALT + Enter twice.
