Description

Untamed V8 Roar: Decatted and Straight-Piped for Maximum Aggression

This modified version of the Pariah.awc features a heavily edited, extreme V8 sound designed to simulate at least 1000bhp. While it doesn't correspond to any real car (as far as I know), this sound mod has been sitting on my installation for some time. It showcases heavily edited exhaust sounds during both acceleration and deceleration. I find driving with it quite satisfying and decided to share it with the community.

I've incorporated an innovative Turbo whistle sound, created from scratch, which I believe enhances the overall sound experience. The Pariah might not be the ideal car for this sound, but you can use the swap engine audio feature found in many mod menus to apply it to any vehicle.

Currently, I haven't replaced any other sounds within the .awc file, but that may change in the future if this mod receives positive feedback. Who knows, I might even create a completely new sound altogether! For now, the status of this mod is REPLACEMENT. If it proves successful, it could potentially be transformed into an ADD-ON.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Extract "pariah.rar" to a folder of your choice.
  2. Navigate to GTAV / Mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks / mpchristmas2017 / dlc.rpf / x64 / audio / dlc-christmas2017
  3. Click on Edit Mode, then drag and drop "pariah.awc" into this folder, replacing the original file.

NOTE: If you wish to revert to the original sound, go to GTAV / update / x64 / dlcpacks / mpchristmas2017 / dlc.rpf / x64 / audio / dlc-christmas2017 and extract pariah.awc to a location of your choice. Then drag and drop it to the directory mentioned in step 2.

Apart from some amplified startup noise, no bugs have been detected.

A video demonstration is coming soon!

Version 0.8

I reverted the sound to its original form for improved clarity. Added a new turbo sound that's more compatible with the game. The volume has been reverted to its original value and will be addressed when the sound is deemed worthy of becoming an add-on.
