TPZ Fuchs 1A3: Amphibious Armored Personnel Carrier (Addon, LOD Optimized, VehFuncs Compatible)

This mod brings the german APC, the Transportpanzer (APC) Fuchs 1A3 to GTA V. The Fuchs 1A3's amphibious capabilities are replicated in this mod.

It features full LODs for improved optimization and comes with a standard 3 tone woodland camo, as well as a desert camo with ISAF markings from the missions in Afghanistan.

Players can deploy smoke grenades, and a passenger can operate the manually controlled turret. The interior includes a functional dashboard and seats 9 people total. All lights function correctly, along with smaller details like doors and suspension objects. Tuning options include red cross logos, stored antennas, removal of the turret armor shield, extra storage containers, and an added siren.

The wavebreaker at the front can be manually raised and lowered, and window covers can be closed using VehFuncs V.

Known issues:

• -water is inside the vehicles despite being set up similarly to default amphibious vehicles. Further research was not pursued.
• -the siren can be toggled on and off regardless of whether the visual model is equipped or not
• -window covers do not have collision objects, meaning the windows can still be shot through them.

Before using this mod, it is essential to use the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre to prevent game crashes during loading.

Installation

1. Place the "fuchs" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\X64\dlcpacks\
2. Using OpenIV, extract [Game folder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and edit it with Notepad++. Add the following entry: dlcpacks:\fuchs\
3. You're done! You will need a trainer with "spawn by name" functionality (like Enhanced Native Trainer) to spawn the vehicle. Use the name "fuchs".
