Simplified Graphics and Performance Tuning for SCRAT's 2017 Ford Focus RS

This modification is specifically designed to work with SCRAT's 2017 Ford Focus RS model files. It includes an optimized texture dictionary (.ytd) file and metadata for improved visuals.

Important: This will NOT work with any other Focus RS mods.

In addition to the texture enhancements, this mod also features updated handling settings for a more realistic driving experience. The metadata is configured to install as a replacement for the "habanero" vehicle.

Remember to thank SCRAT for their excellent work on the base Ford Focus RS model.

Installation Steps:

1. Download and extract SCRAT's Ford Focus RS 2017 model files. 2. Rename "feltzer2" in SCRAT's files to "habanero". 3. Replace SCRAT's .ytd file with the "habanero.ytd" from this archive. 4. Using OpenIV, navigate to: \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\. 5. Enable "Edit Mode" and drag and drop the three "habanero" files into this location. 6. Go to: \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 and right-click on "vehicles.meta". Choose "Edit". 7. Search for "habanero" within the file and locate the correct Item entry. Copy everything between the item tags from the included "MODIFY vehicles.meta" file and paste it over the corresponding lines in your vehicles.meta. 8. In the same file, search for "child>habanero" and ensure the value between the parent tags matches the included "MODIFY vehicles.meta". 9. Go to: \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data and right-click on "handling.meta", selecting "Edit". 10. Search for "HABANERO" and locate the correct handlingName entry. Copy the handling data from the included "MODIFY handling.meta" file and paste it over the corresponding lines in your handling.meta.

Once these steps are complete, close OpenIV, start GTAV, and spawn a Habanero to enjoy the improved graphics and performance.
