Description
SIMCA 1100/1200/1204: Enhanced Models with LOD Support
The Simca brand, originally founded by Fiat in November 1934, went through several ownership changes before ceasing production. The Simca 1100 was produced from 1967 to 1985, accumulating a total of 2.2 million units manufactured across Poissy-France, Nyköping-Sweden, and Madrid-Spain (as Simca 1200). In the UK and North America, it was sold as the Simca 1204.
This mod offers two versions: a USA version with standard San Andreas license plates, side markers, and "1204" badges, spawning as the Simca 1204; and a European version featuring vintage-style font license plates (similar to those used in some European countries during the 60s and 70s), no side markers, "1100" badges, and spawning as the Simca 1100. Textures can be replaced within the ytd file if you prefer different fonts.
A third option allows users to customize the car as the Simca 1200 (Spain). A dedicated folder contains five texture files for replacing badges, along with a gxt2 file to rename the vehicle. Both versions include:
- Changeable interior color
- Animated engine and exhaust
- Breakable glass
- Accurate speedometer (displays MPH)
- Working signal lights on the dashboard
- Hands on the wheel, foot on the pedal
- Correct passenger positions
- Functional lights and doors
- Dirt, dust, and burnt map variations
- Accurate collision
