Renault 16 Enhancements (1965-1980) for Ingot
The "Renault 16" debuted in March 1965. Its standout feature was a modern, practical hatchback body style, which introduced this design to the mid-size family car segment.
The vehicle enjoyed significant success, with 1,845,959 R16s produced over its 15-year production run (until 1980).
Special thanks go to Iksr for providing the original 3D model, which was essential for this project. The initial model had over 600k polygons (excluding the engine) and was reduced to 345k. While this may seem like a high polygon count, I've included Level of Detail (LOD) variations: L1 (Medium=65k), L2 (Low=15k), and L3 (Very Low=550 polygons). This should help with performance.
There are no tuning parts included; only two plate versions were created.
