Modified 2011 Mazda2 with Performance Upgrades
This is my third mod, and my third mod for Mazda fans. I thought this popular small car deserved a place in San Andreas.
I found the mesh (.dae) on 3D Warehouse . Credits to "xrw960" for making the mesh available for free download.
I started by bringing these Collada parts into Z-modeler and replacing Asea parts. The car is built on Asea, but I later realized it wasn't the best solution because Asea doesn't spawn much in traffic and has those sticky-bomb upgrades which are hard to deal with.
However, it is the smallest 4-door car in GTA5, and initially, I thought it was a good idea. While creating it, I also tested other possible replacements. The Dilettante wasn't bad, but I didn't like the hybrid engine sound or the RDS color for radio stations.
I thought that 4 doors wouldn't work for a 2-door car replacement without additional editing of the carvariations..carcols..vehicles.meta...or some other file.
It was a very pleasant surprise when testing my "Mazda2" as the "Issi2". Three bodyguards followed me into the car without any problems, so I decided to go with the Issi.
"All" I had to do extra were tuning parts for the Issi to make the car playable in the game. It works! This time, all the glasses are breakable, including the glass of the lights. The dials, radio stations, all doors, trunk, and boot work as well.
I also learned how to avoid black inside glass after a full upgrade thanks to "SCRAT - Tech & Ride" and his tutorials. He makes the best tutorials for beginners!
Please test it out and let me know what I didn't do or what I did wrong.
You can replace another car, but some functions might not work correctly (dials, driving position...and especially tuning mods). Everything works fine with the Issi2, so please test it as an Issi2.
INSTALLATION:
Extract the file. You will find " issi2_mods.rpf " (TUNING PARTS). Place this file in:
" Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday1ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\patchday1ng\vehiclemods "
(or the latest patchday where you find that file with OpenIV).
There are also two folders for two versions of the car: "US plates" (San Andreas original plates) and "EU plates" (European shape of the plates, also random numbers). Choose one folder you prefer and replace the files here:
" Grand Theft AutoV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ "
(or the latest patchday you find Issi2). TIP: Search for "Issi2" in OpenIV because if you search just for "Issi", there are many more files found.
Have fun, I hope you will like it. TY.
