Mercedes-Benz W114 Convertible: Mod with Animated Roof and Level of Detail (LOD)

This mod brings a unique coupe CABRIO version "250c" of the Mercedes-Benz W114 to the game. It features an "M114" engine and is modeled after the pre-1973 facelift version.

While no factory-built W114 coupe-convertibles existed, some aftermarket companies performed conversions. This mod aims to replicate such a conversion with an automatically animated roof. The animation functions well with LODs within the game but may exhibit minor glitches when viewed in the Rockstar Editor.

Sound and Features

The mod uses the Tornado2 engine sound due to animation-related audio. You can customize this if you prefer a different sound experience.

This mod includes various breakable elements, such as windshields, windows, side-view mirrors, rear-view mirrors, and lights. It also features animated components like the engine, exhaust, interior car key, and antenna. For enhanced realism, working speedometer (displaying MPH), dashboard signal lights, hands on the wheel, a foot on the pedal, accurate passenger positioning, a dirt map, and non-blackening interior glass after upgrades are incorporated.
