The 2008 S63 AMG (W221) is a high-performance luxury sedan produced by Mercedes-AMG, the performance division of Mercedes-Benz. The W221 refers to the chassis code for this particular generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

It is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter V8 engine, also known as the M156 engine. This naturally aspirated V8 produces 518 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.

Transmission:

The S63 AMG comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission, known as the AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic.

Performance:
