Grumman F7F-1 Tigercat Expansion Pack

This mod introduces the F7F-1 TigerCat into GTA5. The plane features functional propellers, controllable surfaces, a working control wheel/yoke, illuminated gauges, running lights, an interior light, operational landing gear, flaps, and wheels.

IMPORTANT: To enter the vehicle, position yourself between the engine and the cockpit. Vehicle collisions may cause the player to walk around the wing if this is not done.

The mod includes livery support and multiple skins, a working machine gun, and compatibility with carpet bomb scripts. It also has custom collisions for the plane and realistic exhaust/fire/damage effects.

Currently, the plane is an addon and lacks proper LODs. However, it functions well when spawned using tools like a simple trainer.

As with all my models, this one is not locked. If you have suggestions for improvement, please contact me. I am always open to collaboration on refining this plane.

Feel free to use the model in your mods, videos, vehicle packs, etc. Please just inform me of your usage.

CREDITS: War Thunder provided the original model, and the War Thunder community contributed some liveries. I solely handled the rigging and gauge adjustments for this conversion.

INSTALLATION

Add the f7f1 folder to your DLC folder using openIV:

MODS/UPDATE/X64/DLCPACKS

Next, navigate to:

MODS/UPDATE/UPDATE.RPF/COMMON/DATA

Make a copy of DLCLIST by dragging it to a folder on your computer.

Enter EDIT mode in OPENIV and add the following line to your DLCLIST file:

dlcpacks:\f7f1\
