Finding a Successor for SCRAT's Iconic Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

I downloaded the car and was amazed by its beauty. I wanted to use it for everyday driving, mainly speeding around the map. However, I noticed that the suspension was too soft, causing the car to oversteer frequently at high speeds.

Using Menyoo, I adjusted the vehicle multipliers (acceleration:9, braking:25, traction 40) for most cars to achieve speeds of 400-550km/h. This enhanced and extended the acceleration feeling while allowing me to utilize extreme torque without losing control.

This handling.meta is not intended to be realistic but rather to provide the car with actual maneuverability at speeds exceeding 200km/h. It features increased downforce, stiffer suspension, faster, and more efficient turning – ideal for high speeds even in narrow alleys within Los Santos. It's highly recommended to extract the original handling.meta before replacing it so you can revert if needed.

INSTALLATION - ADD-ON

Simply extract the handling.meta file and drag and drop it into:

OIV/ GTA V / Mods / Update / x64 / dlcpacks / (SCRAT'S SLSAMG Folder) / dlc.rpf / data

You may not see any confirmation as OpenIV replaces the file automatically. After clicking Edit Mode and dropping the file in, it is instantly replaced.

INSTALLATION - REPLACE

If you replaced the Feltzer with the AMG, go to:

GTA V / mods / update / update.rpf / common / data --- then find handling.meta. Search for "feltzer" and from fMass value 1650.000000 until SubHandlingData, replace all values in between with those from my handling file. This should suffice, but backing up the original handling file before editing is recommended.

The car was brought to GTAV by SCRAT & Game68240, so they deserve your thanks for making it available. I only tweaked the handling.meta, which I'm now sharing to help other speed enthusiasts maximize the car's performance and enjoy it as much as I have.

After using it for about a month, no bugs have been detected.
