The General Dynamics F-16XL is a derivative of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, with a cranked-arrow delta wing. Originally conceived as a technology demonstrator, it later entered the United States Air Force's Enhanced Tactical Fighter (ETF) competition but lost to the F-15E Strike Eagle. Several years after the prototypes were shelved, they were turned over to NASA for additional aeronautical research.

The purpose of its design was to carry a massive load and a massive amount of fuel. However, the F-15 Eagle proved more favorable.

In Game: GTA 5 One of my favorite derivatives of the original F-16A Fighting Falcon. I've always been fascinated by its variants, so here is the XL version! I tried to keep it as realistic as possible. However, since I am new, please let me know if there are any shortcomings.
