Enhanced Physics Mod for Hilux5577's Jeep Wrangler
Version 1.6 Finally turns off ABS, adds a proper option for loud/tuned inline six cylinder exhaust borrowed from the JB700 and makes major changes to the center of gravity, power, weight distribution and general suspension behavior. The 3 Speed automatic option has also been temporarily removed until it can be updated.
Setting up handling that is both low traction AND high center of gravity that also works on multiple materials.dat has proven to be very difficult but not impossible. Handling behavior should now be painstakingly realistic as shown in the video.
Version 1.5 changes the power level from crank horsepower to wheel horsepower, this means more accurate speeds and acceleration as well as a more realistic and more noticeable difference between automatic and manual transmissions.
This handling provides realistic top speed, power, gear ratios, center of gravity and engine sound for Hilux5577's Jeep Wrangler add on.
Handling is based on the 180 HP 4.0 Litre inline six and both the 5 speed manual and 3 speed automatic transmissions are available to choose from. Both options are equipped with 4.10 axle ratios, this low gear set gives the vehicle excellent torque for climbing hills and plowing through soft terrain at the cost of some top speed. Thanks to the low axle ratios and fairly lightweight body the vehicle has decent acceleration for only 180HP.
Although excessive body roll and the unpredictable nature of short wheelbase vehicles make it handle rather poorly on road, the suspension system obviously performs much better off road, using all of that travel to it's advantage to soak up hard bumps and crawl over tough obstacles.
The "stock" suspension setting is actually max lift, install competition suspension in-game for stock ride height as seen in the screenshots. The engine sound was simply borrowed from a pre-existing in-game vehicle with an inline six engine.
