Defiant SB-1 Expansion

The SB-1 Defiant was initially developed for the US Army's Future Vertical Lift program but lost to the Bell V280 Valor tiltrotor.

The SB-1 features a unique design with coaxial rotors and an additional pusher propeller.

This mod introduces the SB-1 into the game with several enhancements:

• It is classified as a VTOL aircraft in the game for functionality reasons, allowing all propellers/rotors to operate correctly and providing flexibility in door usage.
• It enables switching between different flight modes.

The mod includes a custom layout for pilot and co-pilot, accommodating 8 passengers in the back. Tuning options feature external weapon pylons with homing and barrage rockets capabilities.

Installation

1. Place the "sb1defiant" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\X64\dlcpacks\
2. Use OpenIV to extract [Game folder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and edit it with Notepad++. Add the following entry:
   dlcpacks:\sb1defiant\
3. You'll need a trainer with a "spawn by name" function (e.g., Enhanced Native Trainer) to spawn the vehicle. Use the name:
   "sb1defiant"
