Boeing 757-300: Customizable Skins & Designs
This model replicates the stretched version of the Boeing 757-200, first entering service with Condor in 1999. Measuring 178.7 feet (54.5 m) long, it holds the title of longest single-aisle twinjet ever built. Designed as a cost-effective alternative to the 767-200 for charter airlines, the 757-300 retains the fundamental design of its predecessor while extending the fuselage both forward and aft of the wings.
Its six standard cabin doors, two smaller cabin doors situated behind the wings, and a pair of over-the-wing emergency exits on each side allow for a maximum certified passenger capacity of 295. A higher Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) of 272,500 pounds (124,000 kg) is specified, while fuel capacity remains unchanged; consequently, the stretched variant boasts a maximum range of 3,395 nautical miles (6,290 km). Engine options include the RB211-535E4B from Rolls-Royce and the PW2043 from Pratt & Whitney. Due to its increased length, the 757-300 incorporates a retractable tailskid on its aft fuselage to prevent tailstrikes.
This model inherits all the functionalities of Skyline's 757: - Operational flaps - Functional Attitude Direction Indicator (ADI) in the cockpit - Working doors - Other operational control surfaces - In-game modification menu to switch between PW and RR engines
Furthermore, it includes these distinctive features:
- - Five functioning passenger doors, ideal for simulating onboard evacuations
- - The in-game modification menu enables switching between Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney engines.
This model will be released with the following liveries: - American Airlines (old super cool livery) - American airlines (old super cool livery one world) - Condor wir lieben vliegen - Icelandair - Delta - Arkia - Northwest - Transavia (Condor lease livery)
Feel free to upload your own liveries, simply credit the model to myself and Skyline as authors in the description.
