BMP-1 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (GDR) Mod

This mod features an older Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle in the colors of the German Democratic Republic. The BMP-1 is an amphibious IFV, meaning it can traverse through water. It is equipped with an explosive cannon and a coaxial machine gun. You can exchange the machine gun for smoke grenades using the tuning menu. Four additional personnel can enter and sit in the rear compartment.

There is a chance the turret will be blown off upon destruction of the vehicle.

Before using this mod, please ensure you use the CWeaponInfoBlob Limit Adjuster by alexguirre to prevent game crashes during loading.

Installation

1. Place the "bmp1" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\X64\dlcpacks\
2. Using OpenIV, extract [Game folder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and edit this file with Notepad++. Add the following entry: dlcpacks:\bmp1\
3. You are now ready to spawn the vehicle using a trainer with a "spawn by name" function (Enhanced Native Trainer is recommended). Use the name "bmp1" to spawn the vehicle.
