Airbus A330-200 Freighter Conversion: Livery Pack 1.0

Add-On Aircraft Civilian Jet Airbus

Description

Airbus A330-200 Freighter Conversion: Livery Pack

Hey guys, here's a little side project I've been working on - the Airbus A330-200P2F.

The A330-200P2F freighter conversion program was launched in February 2012 at the Singapore Airshow, engineered by ST Aerospace, supported by Airbus, and industrialised and marketed by their Dresden-based Elbe Flugzeugwerke joint venture. Targeting a 2016 introduction, Airbus then estimated a market requirement for 2,700 freighters over 20 years, half of these mid-sized, including 900 conversions.

The A330-300P2F, adapted for express delivery and e-commerce lower densities, can carry up to 62 t (137,000 lb) over 3,650 nmi (6,760 km). Following flight tests in October 2017 and EASA Supplemental Type Certificate awarded in November, the first was delivered to DHL on December 1st. The A330-200P2F can carry 61 t (134,000 lb) over 4,250 nmi (7,870 km). Following June flight tests and the STC in July, the first was delivered to EgyptAir Cargo on August 3rd, 2018.

This model is an adjusted version of the Airbus A330-200 mod from CanalEmbraer. I edited a cargo door onto the model and put in a cargo interior. I also made some minor changes to the rest of the plane. This model features all the same features as Canal's model:

  • - working flaps
  • - working spoilers
  • - working ADI (in the cockpit)
  • - working doors
  • - other working control surfaces
  • - and retractable gear

This Model will come with the following liveries:

  • - House livery
  • - Tampa Cargo
  • - Avianca Cargo
  • - DHL
  • - DHL (air transat converted)
  • - DHL (air greenland converted)
  • - Egyptair cargo
  • - air france cargo

Notes: The UV mapping is a bit weird, however it doesn't impact the liveries too much and the aircraft still looks great!

This model will not be locked, so you can use it in your work if you want. Please just contact me via gta5mods DM to let me know what you're up to. That would be very much appreciated.

Feel free to upload liveries for it, just mention the model with me as author in the description.

This mod might be updated in the future with a mod menu for different engines but I am probably not going to do that though, unless a lot of people want that.

Credits and special thanks to:

  • - FoxUnitOne, for learning me how to mod and learning me the base features of Zmodeler
  • - CanalEmbraer, for granting permission to make an A330-200P2F out of his -200 and providing me automatically with the model of the -200
  • - Elope, for testing the mod ingame and making some cool screens of it

I wanna thank you guys so much for letting me get so close to the whole modding experience. I have some cool projects awaiting ahead so stay tuned for that, mainly the MD90.

NOTE: Screens will be updated later in the coming days
