Add-On Car Mercedes-Benz

Description

1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 Additional Component

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 is a large luxury performance car produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1968 to 1972. It featured the powerful 6.3-litre M100 V8 engine, normally found in the flagship 600 (W100) limousine, installed into the six-cylinder powered (but still high-end) Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL (W109). This resulted in a nearly two-ton sports sedan with muscle car performance. Upon its release, it was one of the fastest four-door cars globally.

A total of 6,526 300 SEL 6.3s were manufactured, and though expensive to maintain, they are highly sought after by collectors today.

The 300 SEL 6.3 was an exceptionally luxurious vehicle for its time. Standard features included air suspension, ventilated 4-wheel power disc brakes, power windows, central locking, and power steering. Air conditioning, a power sunroof, an audio tape deck, rear window curtains, writing tables, and reading lamps were available as options.
