Description
Simmy's Theft Enhancement
This mod draws inspiration from GTA San Andreas's Burglar side missions. Players will be able to break into over 60 homes featuring 5 different interior types located throughout Los Santos and Blaine County, looting and stealing valuables.
Interiors currently have various scenarios, with plans for more additions in future updates. Players must exercise caution and avoid detection by house occupants just like in real life. This mod is expansive with diverse outcomes, so please report any bugs you encounter in the comments section or on the 5mods Discord server for prompt resolution.
Gameplay
- The Boxville spawns between 20:00 and 5:00 and is marked as "Burglar Van" on the map.
- Once inside the van, honk the horn to activate missions.
- On the map, locate a Robable House.
- Sneaking around the house is crucial, as occupants can hear you. There's also a random chance of triggering an alarm.
- Loot containers and steal objects from within the house (note: stolen objects do not disappear visually due to limitations using in-game interiors).
- When your bag is full, return to the rear of the Boxville to load the items.
- After robbing a house, head to the Lockup on the map to cash out your loot.
Install
- Install ScriptHook, ScriptHookDotNet NIGHTLY, and LemonUI into your GTA directory.
- Place SimmyBurglar.dll and SimmyBurglarConfig into your 'scripts' folder.
- In SimmyBurglarConfig, set your game resolution. This simplifies UI setup and avoids firewall issues (hopefully a future update will address this).
- Customize the Boxville livery if you are using a custom model.
Currently, the Boxville model is unchanged for gameplay consistency with GTA San Andreas. However, it may become configurable in the future based on user feedback.
