Police Memory and Vehicle Recognition This mod allows police officers to remember your appearance and vehicles during chases. For the police to recognize you, they need to see you for a few seconds (the exact time depends on factors like distance, your wanted level, and weather conditions). You can prevent them from issuing a warrant by eliminating the officers before they call for backup. Avoiding Recognition** Wearing a mask can prevent facial recognition, but doing so in public places might attract unwanted attention from law enforcement. When police officers encounter you on the street or behind the wheel of your car while there's an active arrest warrant, they may approach you and initiate questioning, potentially leading to a chase. Clearing Warrants** To clear arrest warrants issued by Mikey/Frank/Trev, you can change your clothes or bribe them using phone booths. Dying will also remove outstanding warrants against you. Removing warrants from vehicles requires repainting the car at Los Santos Customs (LCS). Alternatively, you can purchase fake license plates and install them anywhere. Data Persistence** Wanted vehicle information and player clothing are saved to a file every time the game auto-saves or the player manually saves the game. Known Issues** - When "WantedRandomVehs" is set to true, there's a possibility of issuing warrants for the player's car. A fix is currently in progress. - While extensive testing has been conducted, if the mod encounters a crash, typing "Reload()" into the game console should resolve the issue. Future Enhancements** - An in-game options menu would be desirable but requires integration with NativeUI (currently unavailable). - Expanding the locations where license plates can be purchased is planned. - Implementing animations for phone booth interactions is another goal. Installation** 1. Extract the contents of WarrantsV.net.zip. 2. Place the WarrantV.net.dll file into your GTA V scripts folder. 3. After launching the game for the first time, an "Okoniewitz/WarrantsV" folder should appear in your scripts directory. This folder contains the configuration file. Requirements** - A moderately capable PC is recommended as this mod may impact FPS performance. - Scripthook .NET is required to run the mod.
