Resisting Arrest

The initial version (0.1) of this script was created by 5mith.

Thanks to 5mith's generosity in making his script open source, I was able to build upon it. I recommend checking out their work.

5mith's original script (version 0.1) caused cops to approach with nightsticks if you were unarmed or using melee weapons with under two stars. However, they wouldn't switch back to guns after drawing the nightstick.

Version 0.15 of the script includes all features from the previous version and adds the ability for cops to switch to pistols when you draw any non-melee weapon.

New in Version 0.16: Police now attack with a nightstick at one and two stars if you are unarmed or using a melee weapon. However, they will attempt to arrest you using guns if you are armed with a firearm at one star.

Installation

Drag the script file into the "scripts" folder within your GTA 5 directory.

Note: This script will remain open source, allowing anyone to modify and share it. The existence of this script is solely due to 5mith's kindness in releasing their source code. I had no prior experience writing for GTA 5 or using Visual Basic before encountering 5mith's script. A huge thank you to 5mith, and I encourage all modders to release their source code.
