Description
Reciprocal Power
InversePower provides a slight boost while drifting at low speeds, helping to maintain the drift. It counteracts the tendency of vehicles in GTA V to lose power when sliding. This makes driving (primarily) rear-wheel drive cars more enjoyable and predictable. Drifts and slides become easier to control and adjust. The lower the speed and the higher the angle, the more power is applied.
This mod draws inspiration from Drift Assist by InfamousSabre and operates similarly. However, it utilizes speed as negative feedback to prevent excessive acceleration during drifts.
Requirements
- Grand Theft Auto V
- ScriptHookV
Recommended
Any handling modification designed for a realistic experience should work well with this mod. For instance, Killatomato's Realistic Driving V.
Here are some general handling recommendations:
- fLowSpeedTractionLossMult should be (near, ideally at) 0.0
- fTractionCurve(Min/Max) should be around 1.0
Installation
Extract InversePower.asi and InversePower.ini to your GTA V game folder.
Configuration
The InversePower.ini file contains descriptions for each option.
To apply the settings, use the cheat code specified in InversePower.ini. By default, this is "rip" (without quotes).
(Stands for "Reload InversePower")
