Enhanced Traffic Generation (Modified Traffic Mod)

Are you tired of seeing the same cars repeatedly at every intersection? Do you want to see more variety in your GTA V traffic? This mod searches for duplicate vehicles off-screen within nearby traffic. If duplicates are found, it transforms them into random vehicles selected from two vehicle lists in the trafficspawner.ini file. The primary purpose of this mod is to counter the effects of the "taxi glitch" (as it was known in GTA IV), where modding game vehicle models heavily would result in only a limited selection of vehicles naturally appearing in traffic. In GTA V, while the variety is slightly better, excessive modded vehicles might lead to seeing only the same car you're driving and two or three others on the roads. Version 0.2 now enables the spawning of new traffic on typically empty roads with a new option added to the INI file. Only nearby off-screen cars/motorcycles/quadbikes that have two or more instances and are undamaged will be transformed. The transformation results in a completely random vehicle selection.
Installation Instructions:** Replace the existing "trafficSpawner" folder in your GTA V scripts folder with the downloaded folder. **Configuration Options (trafficspawner.ini):** * **Use small vehicles list:** Enables a smaller list of 50 vehicles (currently filled with fighter jets and attack helicopters for testing). * **Use full vehicles list:** Enables the main list containing 275 vehicles of various types. Both lists can be edited to include your desired vehicles. * **Odds of spawning:** Determines the likelihood of a duplicate car being transformed. Setting the odds too low might cause the mod to crash, but you can alt+tab and close the error message to continue playing without the mod. * **Vehicle task rate:** Controls how frequently vehicle-related tasks are performed by the mod (e.g., transforming vehicles). Lower values mean more frequent checks but may impact performance. * **Ped task rate:** Similar to the vehicle task rate, but for pedestrian-related tasks and ped spawning options. * **Debug Messages:** Enables displaying messages in the game console to monitor the mod's activity and success.
