Description
Enhanced Pedestrian Collision System V
This mod aims to make gunfights more diverse, dynamic, and interesting throughout the game. You will notice NPCs staggering and stumbling when running with injured legs, going down without immediately dying, and still audibly reacting to your behavior even when downed.FEATURES
Here's a quick overview of the key features: * Most features are chance-based, so NPC behaviors won't be identical each time you encounter them - ensuring diverse fights and maintaining interest for longer than vanilla gameplay. * Almost every feature can be enabled, disabled, or tweaked in the ini file (more information below), allowing you to customize your experience. * The mod is activated by default, and the toggle key is 'X'. * Affects only pedestrians; other entities like animals are unaffected.KNOWN "ISSUES"
(These aren't actual issues) * Due to the game's "getting up" animation, you may occasionally see burning NPCs get up and fall again. * During time manipulation (e.g., using the weapon wheel), physics and movement of dying NPCs can become erratic because the mod uses timers that operate differently from the game clock. We are currently searching for a fix.Changelog
**v1.2** * Revamped the core system for performance enhancements. * Incorporated features from the Red Dead Redemption 2 version. **v1.1** * Added an experimental vehicle god mode (vehicles can still sustain minor damage for realism - disabled by default). * Introduced a new panicking system, adding a chance for NPCs to surrender or flee if you are overwhelming them in combat (configurable in the ini). * Reimplemented the NPC accuracy system (now more complex and randomized, configurable in the ini). * Added parameters to the ini for customizing audible NPC reactions while in dying states. The original "Ped Damage Overhaul" mod was created for Red Dead Redemption 2. This mod is a port of that project.First Upload: November 11, 2024 Last Updated: November 11, 2024
