Create Your Own Unique Shade

This is a basic tutorial to guide you through creating GTA V mods. It covers:

• Scripting
• Creating Vehicle Mods
• Texture Editing
• Working with RPF Files

This mod was initially created for personal use. However, it's useful because the game lacks a color picker feature.

This mod allows you to create any desired color for your (non-livery) vehicles, even a Lazer. You can generate hundreds of colors unavailable within the game.

If you discover a good color combination, save it to apply to other vehicles later.

HOW IT WORKS

• While inside any vehicle, stop and press F9 to access the menu.
• Use W or S to navigate Red, Green, Blue, or Save Color options.
• Press A or D to increase/decrease intensity. Hold LShift while pressing A or D for faster adjustments.
• Press Space and A or D to switch between primary and secondary color editing modes.
• In either primary or secondary mode, navigate to "Save color" and press LControl+S to save the color.
• If you only need one color, press LShift+L to make the secondary color match the primary color.

AFTER SAVING A COLOR

• In any vehicle, instantly (without pressing F9) press LCtrl+L to load your saved color.
• The saved primary and secondary colors will be automatically loaded and applied.
