Installation
Place DialogueSystem.dll into your "scripts" folder. You will need the latest versions of ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet.
About
This mod changes how players interact with NPCs. Instead of a single button for talking, there are now two! You can talk to every pedestrian in the game. Pressing the talk button (E or right-dpad by default) lets you "Greet" or "Antagonize" them. Greeting starts a conversation, while antagonizing insults them, potentially leading to a fight. You can also try to "Defuse" situations and apologize. Each NPC has its own personality that affects the conversation's outcome. They will remember you. This system is inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2 and older Rockstar Games like Bully and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
