DISCLAIMER This mod was created in two days. Some MIDIs may sound distorted or not work at all. Please refrain from contacting me about these issues, as MIDIs are designed for multiple instruments, while this mod utilizes only one (car horns). Description This is a proof-of-concept mod and should not be taken seriously. It adds 8 cars to the Opera house in Vinewood Hills. Each car acts as a musical note and has its own unique horn sound. The mod takes a converted MIDI file as input and plays it using car horns. Three songs are included that play relatively well. To start, go to the opera house and press NumPad9 to access the menu and navigate with the numpad. Song conversion The mod accepts .csv files converted from MIDI files. Follow these steps to convert your own MIDI: 1. Prepare your MIDI song. 2. Download the tool from and extract it into a folder. 3. Open a command prompt (Shift + Right click) and type "midicsv yourmidifile.mid > yoursong.csv" without the "". 4. Copy and paste the resulting "yoursong.csv" to the scripts/music/ folder. 5. It should appear in the in-game menu. Channels In the settings menu, you can change the Channel the cars will use. Channels represent instruments defined in the MIDI file. Some songs sound better on a single channel, while others (like the included Moonlight Sonata) sound better with all channels merged. * Any: Plays the first channel defined in the MIDI file. * **All**: Merges all channels into one and plays them simultaneously. * **1..24**: Plays the selected channel. Installation** 1. Ensure you have both the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x64) installed. 2. Download and install Script Hook V (including the ASI loader). 3. Download the latest Script Hook V .NET and copy the ASI into your game folder. 4. Place all contents of the zip into the scripts/ folder. Create one if it doesn't exist. Changelog** -0.1 --First Public Release
