Aircraft-Mounted Missile Systems with Release Capability
This mod introduces universally compatible "break-away" missiles for aircraft in the game.
Description
In the vanilla game, wing-mounted missiles on aircraft are permanently fixed and do not detach when fired. This script enables the missiles to physically break away from the wing upon firing, resulting in a more realistic visual effect.
Full credit for the original concept goes to user @FoxtrotDelta, whose inspiration led to the creation of this mod.
Requirements
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet
Installation
- Install the latest version of .NET script hook from GitHub.
- Create a folder named "scripts" in the main GTA installation directory (if it doesn't already exist).
- Place AdaptiveMissiles.dll and AdaptiveMissiles.ini inside the folder.
Other Info
Although the script is designed for universal vehicle compatibility, proper configuration within vehicle models is crucial. Detailed information on the correct configuration process can be found in the readme file (it follows a similar approach to the vanilla lazer).
Usage
No additional configuration is necessary after installation. Simply utilize a vehicle known to be compatible with the script. Certain options, such as using a key for missile reloading or playing a reload sound effect, can be configured within the ini file.
