Tattoos by Michael: A Jun Cha Tribute

I always felt that Michael's portrayal as a hardened criminal blended too easily into the luxurious lifestyle he leads. To make him appear tougher, without resorting to generic tattoos, I decided to give him very realistic ink inspired by the renowned tattoo artist Jun Cha. In my opinion, Jun Cha's (admittedly expensive) tattoos strike a good balance between "rough criminal" and high art.

Jun Cha works in Los Angeles, making it somewhat believable that Michael could have scheduled several hours-long sessions with him.

Michael, to me, seems burdened by guilt over his current life choices. Therefore, I chose tattoo themes centered on faith, mercy, and forgiveness, incorporating angelic imagery reminiscent of Jun Cha's style.

While these designs are influenced by Jun Cha's style, they aren't exact copies and lack the compositional strength of his work. Personally, I think the arms, particularly the lower right and upper left, look the best. I'm still planning to rework the chest tattoos when time and inspiration allow.
