Substituting Lester as the Lead Character

This mod replaces Trevor or Micheal with Lester the MO-Lester, allowing you to play as him throughout the story. Remember to always modify your game within the mods folder.

Trevor

First, navigate to mods/64v.rpf/models/cdimages/streamedpedplayers.rpf. Delete all content within the player_two file and drag and drop the files from the mod into streamedpedsplayers.rpf.

Next, go to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mppatcheseng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/mppatches.rpf. Delete every player_two file.

Finally, proceed to update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/patchday3ng.rpf and repeat the deletion process for all player_two files.

Micheal

First, navigate to mods/64v.rpf/models/cdimages/streamedpedplayers.rpf. Delete everything inside the player_zero file and drag and drop the mod's files into streamedpedsplayers.rpf.

Next, go to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/mppatcheseng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/mppatches.rpf and delete every player_zero file.

Finally, proceed to update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/patchday3ng.rpf and repeat the deletion process for all player_zero files.

Version Updates

2.0: Added a replacement option for Micheal. Note that some clothing items may be invisible due to Lester's clothing models not being fully compatible with Micheal's model. Lester's hair for Micheal is also invisible. All clothes and hair function perfectly for Trevor.

Lester's glasses (p_eyes_000) and headset (p_head_000) have been added.

3.0: The Lester model has been fixed for Micheal. Hair and clothing now work flawlessly. Simply navigate to update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday4ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/patchday4ng.rpf and delete all player_zero files.

4.0: Added online Lester functionality.
