Military Police Special Operations Unit

The Republic of China Military Police Special Services Company (MPSSC), also known as the "憲特" (憲兵特勤隊) or "Night Hawks," is a special forces unit within the Republic of China's Ministry of National Defense. Established in 1978, this unit is based in Wugu District, New Taipei City, near the Military Police Training Center. The MPSSC specializes in counter-hijacking operations throughout Taiwan and anti-seizure and sabotage missions specifically in Northern Taiwan. Its members wear black uniforms and are sometimes referred to as the "Night Hawks Special Task Force" or "夜特."
