Kemono Friends Kaban Expansion/Mod

This mod adds Kaban from Kemono Friends into GTA V. It requires OpenIV and assumes you are using a mods folder and ASI Loader. You have two installation options: replacing Michael or adding Kaban as an add-on ped. If you want to keep the original Michael, use the add-on method. Replacing Michael directly allows for modified cutscenes but facial animations (mouth and eyebrows) don't currently work in the add-on version.

Replacing Michael Method

1. Backup all files within these folders then delete them: * mods\x64v.rpf\models\cdimages\streamedpeds_players.rpf\player_zero * mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mppatchesng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\mppatches.rpf\player_zero * mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\patchday3ng.rpf\player_zero * mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday4ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\patchday4ng.rpf\player_zero 2. Paste the files from this mod into the corresponding folders. 3. Replace mods\x64v.rpf\models\cdimages\streamedpeds_players.rpf\player_zero.yft with the player_zero.yft file from the mod.

Adding Kaban as an Add-on Ped

1. Download and follow the instructions for AddonPeds ASI: [Link to addonpeds ASI] 2. Register Kaban using the name "kaban" and set the Ped type to "stream."

Known Issues

When attempting to use the phone in first-person view, it may not appear and you could get stuck in first-person view unable to use weapons. The cause of this issue is unknown, so it's recommended to avoid using the phone in first-person view.
