Clay Simons: 2008 GTA The Lost and Damned Character 1.3

Add-On Skin

Description

Clay Simons: 2008 GTA The Lost and Damned Character

Clay Simons from GTA: The Lost And Damned ported to GTA 5 by me. It retains the original weight painting from GTA TLAD, so the model's movements are as accurate as possible to the original.

Features:

  • This mod contains both an in-game and cutscene model. Both of these models have fully rigged facial animations.

Installation Instructions:

  • - In-game model: Drop in all the files from my mod's in-game folder to: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_ig.rpf\
  • - Cutscene model: Drop in all the files from my mod's cutscene folder to: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64g.rpf\levels\gta5\generic\cutspeds.rpf\cs_clay Alternatively, you can install it as an add-on ped.

Note: Clay has a hat prop that will spawn on the cutscene model (and on the in-game model during Mr. Philips) unless you delete/replace with a dummy mesh cs_clay_p/ig_clay_p. I provided a dummy mesh that you can use in the files of this mod.

  • ig_clay_p: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\pedprops.rpf\
  • cs_clay_p: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64v.rpf\models\cdimages\streamedpedprops.rpf\

To make the hat invisible in-game during the mission Mr. Philips, simply replace the above mentioned models with the dummy mesh from my mod.

If you use this model in any type of video or project, please credit me by leaving a link to this mod in the description.

V1.2

  • Proper GTA V vertex painting was applied to the model.
  • The "feet" mesh is no longer incorrectly labeled as the "accs" mesh.
  • Replaced GTA V Clay's low quality gloved hands with HD bare hands, better resembling his TLAD appearance (fix by Golden Saddle).

V1.3

  • Added custom made specular maps to Clay's in-game and cutscene models
  • Fixed a material issue that made Clay's in-game model unnecessarily have embedded textures, the .ydd now weights 500kb less
  • Fixed naming convention issues that could cause some body parts to appear textureless when pre-viewed in OpenIV
  • Internally cleaned up harmless naming convention errors because I'm a perfectionist
