Various Paint Schemes of the F-104C Starfighter
I created a number of different paint schemes for the F-104 Starfighter. The liveries represent Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Germany (2), Japan (2), Netherlands, Norway (2), Pakistan, RCAF, Spain, Turkey, and USAF.
These liveries are designed for SkylineGTRFreak's Lockheed F-104C Starfighter mod found here.
Once the mod is installed according to its instructions, open the dlc.rpf file with OpenIV. Follow this path to locate the file you need to overwrite:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\f104c\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\f104c.ytd
If you want to keep the original Bare Metal USAF livery, extract the f104c.ytd file from OpenIV while in "Edit mode" and rename it to origf104c.ytd.
To overwrite with one of the new liveries, drag the desired .dds file from the extracted zip file into this location:
...GTAV/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/flyingbox/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf/f104c.ytd
Then rename the file to f104c_sign_1.
You may be able to add the new liveries to f104c2.ytd, but it might exceed the size limit for a .ytd file. If you choose this option, replace the existing liveries in the f104c2.ytd file with the new ones using the same process, but rename the file to f104c_sign_6 instead of f104c_sign_1.
To confirm the livery, open the OpenIV Model Viewer by clicking on the f104c.yft or f104c_hi.yft file. This will show you what the model looks like with the new livery.
Once you're satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV. Spawn the f104c using your preferred trainer.
I have also included the .dds files extracted from the .ytd file for your convenience. Enjoy!
