Paint Schemes: Real & Imaginary for FoxtrotDelta's MC-27J, Including RCAF SAR, Russian, and Chinese Versions
Real world and fictional paint schemes for FoxtrotDelta's MC-27J Gunship. Once installed according to the mod's instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV. Follow this path to overwrite the file:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mc27\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\mc27us.ytd
If you wish to retain the original livery, extract the mc27us.ytd file within OpenIV and rename it (e.g., origmc27.ytd). When ready to overwrite with a new livery, toggle "Edit mode" in OpenIV and replace the mc27us.ytd file with one from the extracted zip file:
...D:\Program Files\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mc27\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\mc27us.ytd
After replacing the .ytd file, open it in OpenIV and rename the desired paint scheme (e.g., C27_1X_TRussia - C27_5X_TRussia) to C27_1X_T - C27_5X_T, then save the file. Included are the original livery, a requested RCAF SAR livery, and fictional Russian and Chinese liveries.
To confirm the livery, open the mc27us.yft or mc27us_hi.yft file in the OpenIV Model Viewer. Once satisfied, close the viewer, run GTAV, and spawn mc27us using your preferred trainer.
Work files are included for those who wish to create their own paint schemes.
Enjoy,
Gillman
