Madura United FC is an Indonesian football club based in Pamekasan, Madura. Previously known as Persipasi Bandung Raya, the club was formed from the merger of Persipasi Bekasi and Pelita Bandung Raya which competed in the Indonesian Super League. The owner of Persipasi Bandung Raya, Ari D. Sutedi, eventually sold the club to Achsanul Qosasi, who transformed it into Madura United FC. Today, Madura United has become one of the strongest clubs in Indonesia's top league.
